Hello,

I have a problem, I just bought a PC and from the beginning, it crashes. Indeed, Avast regularly detects a virus: C\windows\system32\.exe and whether I delete it or quarantine it, my computer crashes and I can no longer access either the desktop or the taskbar or the task manager (I have to reset). But the open programs continue to run, and as soon as I close them, I can’t do anything…..
I’m sending you a Hijack log:

First, the process of this virus must be terminated before removing it from the disk.

Good evening,
Internet Explorer is not up to date! ( http://www.windowsupdate.com/windowsupdate/v6/default.aspx )

Fix checked:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\urdvxc.exe

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)

O23 - Service: Network Windows Service (MSWindows) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\System32\urdvxc.exe

-------
Here is some information about Boonty games

Their policy:

"We may also share paid information with third parties who provide paid services and share aggregated data showing the type and number of video games you download, your age, gender, occupation, education level, geographic location, data about your computer’s equipment, internet and interests in video games, activities, and training of published games. Additionally, we share email addresses with third-party email providers who assist us in sending our emails to many clients at once..."

If you agree with them, no problem, otherwise, you need to uninstall the service by going to

fix checked this if you do not want it anymore:

O23 - Service: Boonty Games - BOONTY - C:\Program Files\Common Files\BOONTY Shared\Service\Boonty.exe

Restart the PC and delete:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\urdvxc.exe

----
If you did not want it:
Run a Boonty search and delete everything. The games may not work anymore

Finaly, I kind of followed your advice: I updated Windows, actually I reinstalled it and then updated it and it's all good!! As for the Boonty thing, I assure you I only tried a game once but I realized it was pretty crap and paid lol! Since then I haven't managed to uninstall it properly, this thing is really awful, I totally agree, don't worry. Thank you very much for your quick response.

Hi, sorry but I'm not really into troubleshooting anymore so I'm a bit overwhelmed. I'll let you ask someone else for help.

Thanks
