The decoders receive a signal for 'sensitive' channels intended to protect young audiences. These channels therefore "activate" a protection that is located within the decoder itself. This code is the one indicated in the decoder's manual (often 0000 or 1234 by default).
UNLESS someone has already changed this code, in which case you need to ask that person or perform a "reset" of the decoder to restore the default code. But that implies you will also lose all configuration.
