Hello there,
I've been searching for several years for a song I used to have on audio cassette (we listened to it in the car when I was little, during vacation trips), and I can't seem to find it; not knowing the singer or the full lyrics isn't helping either!
I remember it went something like:
"For my birthday, I got a metal teddy bear
A plush hammer, and a trip on an ostrich (?)
[...]
And what did you get, Colette?
[...]
Fried potato! Cooked potato!
[...]"
It's vague, but my memory has faded after fifteen years! If any of you know at least the singer, that would be a lot. Thank you!

Hello, I'm responding a bit late... the group in question is "babyboom", a group I also listened to as a child, so many memories....
