Exit a table

Hello to you, so here's my problem.

My mouse cursor is at the end of the table. When I want to write below the table, I can't. How is that possible? Is there a manipulation I should do to place the cursor outside the table and write below?

    I don't know how you managed it, but you removed the last footnote from the page.
    Right-click on the table of contents and delete it.
    Then insert it again, the new table will appear this time with an empty paragraph.

      No, it's doing exactly the same thing again, the gray box is still there... I'm bewildered by computers. Any tips that really work, please?

      @Azazel777Yes: Do it like everyone else, type all your text, format it, and apply styles for the paragraph titles.
      When EVERYTHING is finished, place your cursor at the beginning of the document and insert the table of contents. This way you won't need to click afterwards...

      @Raymond PENTIERExcept that I don't want to "dodge" the issue by avoiding writing afterwards, but I am eager to resolve it. I can't believe there isn't a "simple" solution to write below a table of contents. And especially the fact that I haven't been able to get that information for days seems quite incredible.

      @Azazel777It's simply that none of us has ever experienced such an anomaly.
      The problem is specific to you.

      Furthermore, we are still waiting for the file that yclik requested from you on March 21st, in post #11!
      A Writer file is not the same thing as screenshots ...

      Not being able to provide the essential elements after a week is what's incredible!
      And you're the one complaining, on top of that ...

      @Azazel777I can understand your questioning, and at the same time, you say it yourself, computing is not your field.
      Computing is a logical world, not a magical one.
      A modern word processor is not just text; it is a whole series of advanced functions based on a complex code that you do not see.
      And so, yes, it is very possible that by tinkering with it, you may have compromised the file, making it difficult to identify the cause.

      If you do not provide the elements requested by the people here, unless someone is a clairvoyant, we could search for a long time.
      Therefore, the best thing to do is to respond to the requests instead of hoping for a miracle or "assuming that it should be simple." This would greatly shorten the time for everyone. Remember that everyone here is a volunteer who spends energy for you.

      It is normal that you are not a specialist, but do not "assume" in place of others :-)
