Can I install Windows XP on my laptop that is running Windows 10
I would like to work with both systems because I have things that do not work
with Windows 10. I have a new endoscopic camera that works on XP and is not recognized on Windows 10 (Potensic 85S camera)

Thank you

    Hello,

There is a very high chance that Windows XP will not install on a recent PC. It will not have the drivers for the hardware, it won't recognize a UEFI boot disk, ... And if it actually starts installing, it would overwrite the Windows 10 boot.

It’s better to find an old PC with XP.

    Best regards

Often the simplest solution is the best.

If you have some computer knowledge, you could try a more complex solution. Install a virtual machine (VMware or VirtualPC) with XP on your W10. But how do you connect your camera? If it uses an old connection like RS232 serial port or parallel, then it's not even worth trying.

      For jee pee
This camera connects via a USB key.
      Thank you for your attention.
