Minecraft right-click mouse bug

Hello, I've recently picked up Minecraft again, but a problem has arisen when I try to eat or do anything else involving the right click; it doesn't work, although the touchpad works fine. It's not a mouse issue because it works very well in other applications.

    Try going into the Minecraft controls and reassign the right-click to its command.

    It happens to me too, you need to close your other open pages and only leave 
    Minecraft
    open.

    If you are on a Mac, you don't need to close 
    Finder
    .
