Hello,

The PCI serial port driver for my computer is not installed, where can I find it to install it? I'm using Windows 10. Here is the message from the "Details" menu in the properties:

The device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2E17&SUBSYS_02761028&REV_03\3&172e68dd&0&1B requires that the installation be continued.

I don't understand that error message at all. Can you please help me?

Have a nice day everyone.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 73.0.3683.86

    Is Windows up to date?

    Press Windows + R
    Type --> winver and OK

    What is the version?

      Hello, thank you for your response. Yes, it is up to date except that the drivers for my device are not installing. Its version is: 1809 (operating system 17763,379).

    Select --> 7Zip
    Choose --> extract to "INTEL_AMT-SOL.....\"

    Go to the device manager
    Right-click on the device
    Update driver

    Browse
    Go to the unzipped driver folder --> INTEL_AMT-SOL......
    Select the folder --> SOLinf

    Thank you very much, it's working. When I had this problem, there was another error code oXA00F4244 "No cameras are attached." I thought that with this, this code could go away too. My camera and Lifecam VX-1000.

    Ok. But I still don’t have a response for the error code of the Lifecam VX-1000 camera. Its error code 0XA00F4244 “No cameras are attached.” That’s the message.

    Press Windows + R
    Type --> devmgmt.msc and OK.

    Do you have a section --> other devices?

    Do you have an alert regarding the camera?

    If yes, provide the hardware ID of the device
    Check this --> Find a device identification number
    Post the number in your next message.

    No, it works on Facebook. If I click start then I choose the camera, it gives me error code 0XA00F4244 "it says "No cameras are attached"
    No section for other devices.
    I also have no alert regarding the camera.
    For its number, I don't know and I don't know where to find it.

    I don't have any alerts regarding the camera

    So, it is indeed present in the device manager?

      Check if it's the antivirus that's blocking it.

    I haven't installed any other antivirus on it. I only kept the one provided by Microsoft. If it's him, what should I do?

    It's probably not Windows Defender that is blocking it.

    Hi

    I have the same camera, and I tried installing it on 2 PCs with W10 but it doesn't work

    The latest drivers for this camera are for W7 in 32 and 64 bits >> https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/fr-fr/d/lifecam-vx-1000

    On the first PC which was originally on W7 and "migrated" to W10, the driver installs but I can't access/find the camera in the programs

    On the second PC originally with W8.1 and "migrated" to W10, the driver doesn't install

    I tested a lot of possibilities (compatibility mode, etc...), but nothing works

    I think you're going to have to break the bank and invest in a new camera

    PS: on the W7 with which I'm communicating, the camera works
