DECT TECHYO phone screen lighting

Hello, I just bought 3 TECHYO DECT phones, which I have installed and already configured a bit. They are working. But my big problem: the screen does not turn on, not once, even when someone calls me and I pick up the handset.... Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance for your interest in my request. @+

So model 950380- TTR-1.
I can read what's written without any problem, but... in front of a window, because there is no backlighting (backlight: that's it?) so in the evening...!!

With a model priced at 38 euros, you can't expect a ton of adjustments...

So, if there is no lighting in the room near the phone to read the black lettering on the screen? And at night, what to do when, on top of that, we have the vision of... retirees?!

The topic of backlighting is discussed there... apparently just a simple blue background to highlight the black inscriptions.

Hello, yes, we have done the procedures. It seems that indeed, in this series, there is not the slightest background light.... (we're not talking about lighting intensity, more or less). But no light at all. In the photos of the model provided by you, all 3 devices are in "vertical position", and there is indeed the blue light behind the lettering. Our purchased model has its base in a nearly horizontal position, and the other 2 on bases are in vertical position. We will quickly think about whether we keep or pack them together.
P.S. obviously, the price is not high enough to provide all the comfort..... Thank you for your "insight" ... and have a nice day!

I unfortunately feel that there is no special lighting on these handsets... the advertised backlighting simply makes the writing on the screens visible but nothing more.
