Deleting messages before a certain date

Hello,

I want to clean up my Hotmail inbox by deleting messages, but only those before a certain date. I do not wish to delete everything.

Can you tell me if this is possible?

    Hello,

    I just tested the search by entering the year 2018 and it brings up all the emails from that period, so try with a specific date in mind and then proceed with your deletion.

    However, the issue is that if there’s a date in the body of a recent email, you risk deleting a recent one. :/
