File cannot be deleted despite full control

Hello everyone,

We have an RDS/TSE infrastructure where each user profile is mounted on VHDs, each having full control over their VHD as well as its contents.
We are using Windows Server 2012, I have checked all the GPOs and none block deletion (the issue has spread recently, maybe a bug from an update?)

The problem affecting everyone: when a user wants to delete a file/folder they created, the "access denied" window pops up even though full control is fine on the desktop and on the file (I provide my admin profile and they delete it, but I can't give admin rights to everyone).

By pressing shift+delete, deletion works (sometimes).

I noticed that if deleted normally (with an admin account), the item does not go to the recycle bin. I'm trying to look into that but I'm having a bit of trouble understanding how it works.

If you have any ideas, solutions, or avenues of thought to suggest, I'm all ears.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Have you checked the permissions of the recycle bin?

Here’s what I get on my Windows 7 Pro 64-bit:

Hello,

It returns exactly the same thing to me, I checked the rights of the VHD, the rights in the "Desktop" directories, the recycle bins, and theoretically, everything is fine. Are there any specific permissions somewhere?

Thank you
