Vectorization impossible

Hello everyone.

I work with Illustrator CC 2015 and I'm encountering a rather annoying problem:
I have created a black and white logo by hand that I scanned and imported into Illustrator as a PDF to vectorize it.
However, when I select my image and want to click on the "Image Trace" function, it is grayed out...
I absolutely do not understand why and it's quite problematic...

If any of you could shed some light on this point, it would be really nice!

When you imported your file, copy your image and paste it into a new file. That has happened to me before, and by doing it this way, it worked.
