Good evening, I have a product key located at the bottom of my laptop on a label for Windows XP Pro, so I downloaded a Windows XP Pro SP3 FR image from a link found in your forum. I have installed it twice using the activation key on the label but without success; it gives me 30 days. Thank you for your help.

    Is it on the same original laptop that you want to install XP? Because the license key only works on one PC: one PC = one license.

      Good evening, thank you for your reply. I received the laptop as a gift without an installation CD for Windows XP Pro, but it has a Windows XP Pro production key label with the serial number. So I downloaded the Windows XP Pro SP3 ISO from a link on the Windows XP forum, but I have installed it twice and activated it with the product key, yet it still gives me a 30-day trial. Do I need to download a different Windows XP Pro image that accepts the product key serial? And where can I download it?

      There is also the option of bypassing the XP license, which is no longer supported by Microsoft for updates.

      or buy a license plus the ISO file on Cdiscount for example, for 15 euros.
