Lag/tearing issues after driver update

Hello everyone, I bought a new laptop not too long ago and at first, everything was going very well; I was even able to run the most demanding games like GTA 5 on Ultra. However, I had the idea to update my drivers, so I went to the DriverCloud website and updated quite a few of my drivers, including the NVIDIA driver. Right after the update, everything went wrong; I lost a significant amount of FPS in all my games, which made them quite uncomfortable. So I simply uninstalled the NVIDIA driver and restarted my computer to reinstall the old one, but the problem somewhat persists. I have a lot of tearing in games and I have to lower my resolution in all games to get acceptable FPS, and even then, the games are not completely smooth. I can't quite explain it, but for example in Osu, which is a aim game, I feel it more particularly and it's quite unpleasant...
I tried updating NVIDIA to a version other than the latest, but the same problem occurred; I tried a software to completely uninstall the driver and then reinstall the original one, once again the same problem persists, so I'm a bit stuck and I'm not sure what to do...
Hoping you can help me, thanks!

Hello,
Many gaming laptops have a dedicated graphics card and an integrated graphics chipset, the laptop switches between the two depending on needs to save battery. If this is your case, make sure that the Nvidia GPU is enabled when you're gaming.

I have the same problem on my fixed PC as you. It occurred to me to update my drivers,
so I went to the DriverCloud website, updated all my drivers, it's all good, I restarted my PC,
and the problems started blue screen. A message indicates that the PC has encountered a problem and needs to restart, it restarted and the lags started; the PC takes an hour to boot up and it lags on the desktop,
games take 10 minutes to start, my whole PC lags.

Yes, it's indeed my NVIDIA graphics card that is activated in games

Before installing new graphics drivers, you need to uninstall the old ones.
Uninstall your NVIDIA drivers. ALL of them.
Download the latest drivers FROM THE MANUFACTURER'S WEBSITE and install them.
