I accidentally uninstalled Intel Serial IO.

Question

Hello, I accidentally uninstalled "Intel Serial IO" from "Programs and Features." I'm not exactly sure what it corresponds to. I have an ASUS R540L laptop with Intel inside CORE i3. Can someone tell me what I should do? Thank you very much in advance.

I have Windows 10. The problem is that I don't know where to find what I uninstalled (I think it was pre-installed when I bought my PC...).

Thank you for your response. That being said, not being a computer whiz, I just went to the two links you suggested but I didn’t dare to go any further… so, since my PC is working normally, I prefer not to risk making a mistake.  If you could just tell me what "Intel Serial I/O" in "Programs and Features" is for, which I accidentally uninstalled. I don't know what exactly it corresponds to. I think it's related to the graphics card, but for now, it's not preventing me from using my PC as before.  Thank you in advance for your clarifications.
