HP LaserJet 2035 Printer Driver Installation

Hello, I can't seem to install the driver for my HP LaserJet 2035 printer. The installation gets stuck at the point where I'm asked to verify that the printer is powered on and connected via a USB cable. Despite several attempts, I still can't get it installed. The driver came with the printer in question. Can someone please help me? Thank you.

    When you have the question, have you tried unplugging and changing the USB port?

      I changed the USB port but it always stops at the same level.
