Move arte VOD video to the computer

Hello, I bought a movie online on the Arte site, I can play it on the Arte VOD program but I can't save it to my computer using the settings option. I choose the folder where I want to move the video but nothing happens. Can you help me?

    Hello,
    Under Firefox, install an extension named: download flash and video
    Then while watching the Arte file, click at the top right on a red tab, choose your file extension, select MP4, then try to play it with the computer player. If impossible, it will be necessary to convert it to MP4 or AVI, with the software "MediaCoder" for example! If it is protected in its content, I will tell you the name of a software to make it free from all rights! Good luck.

      Thank you for your response, but I tried and it doesn’t work because the video is played by a separate program from the internet; I can watch the video even without being connected.
