Unable to print with Publisher

Question

Good evening,

I've been having a problem for a few days, I can no longer print anything from the Publisher software.
Everything works fine when I print from Word, Excel, or my email.
But when I try to print from Publisher, the following message appears: Waiting for response from the Samsung CP460 printer; then nothing happens, and a few dozen seconds later, the message appears: Unable to complete this operation.
I have installed and reinstalled the printer, the drivers, checked that the printer is set as the default printer, but still nothing new, I can print from all software except for this one.
If anyone can help me, I am open to suggestions, I need to be able to print the company's invoices!

I have the same problem since the same date! Exporting to a PDF is still possible but not practical. Is there another solution? Thank you for your responses

Hello,

Can you export to PDF? The idea would be to work around the problem (at least temporarily) to print the PDF version.

You also have Easy PDF Creator, a free virtual printer to export all types of files to PDF:

Try reinstalling Publisher....  If the other programs are working fine, then it's Publisher that has an issue.

Still haven't found a solution on my end either. The problem doesn't come from the printer model... and the virtual printers (PDF creator, Architect...) aren't working either! I'd rather lean towards the idea, as Teutates suggests above, that a Publisher update triggered it all. I tried uninstalling the latest updates, without success.

Hello,

I've been having the same issue since last week with Publisher 2007.
I have a second workstation next to it with exactly the same configuration, and there's no printing problem on that one.
I have tested with three different printers.
Has anyone tried uninstalling Office and reinstalling it after?

Hello, the same issue on Windows 10. System restore and reinstalling Publisher after removal with the Office software haven’t changed the problem. Thank you for your responses.

Hello, I'm having the same problem but not on all the PCs. I'm in a computer lab with 15 PCs, and there are 6 that no longer print from Publisher 2007. The others are still working normally. I also suspect a faulty update of Office or Windows.
If anyone has a solution, I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Same here, it all depends on the version of Windows. Printing from Publisher works with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, but does not work with Windows 10 Pro 32-bit.

As a reminder, Microsoft Office 2007 no longer has updates or support since October 2017, including Microsoft Office Publisher 2007 since 10/10/2017.

Surely Microsoft will do everything to make version 2007 stop working and force us to buy a more recent version! (2016)

I didn't read all the responses, but the urgent solution for me was to copy and paste into Word, and I managed to print with the same options... It's true that converting to PDF makes the solution a bit more complicated but effective as well.
