Lock a cell based on another cell

I want to lock cell 1 if the text in cell 2 is "STT". So I'm explaining that if I select STT (from the dropdown list in cell 2), cell 1 should be locked and nothing can be done to it.

Can someone help me?

  It blocks the cell even if I choose something other than STT in cell B1, knowing that cell B1 is a dropdown list (either STT, BTV, GTF, ORT).

Formula: =AND($B1="STT",$A1<>$A1)
Tab Data/Data Validation/Options tab/Custom

  I did it, the problem was with my dropdown list; I needed to set the condition first, and then I had to create the dropdown list.

Re-

Select cell A1
Data Data validation
in Allow you choose Custom
and in Formula you enter this: =$B$1<>"stt"
In the Error alert tab you can enter a message that will display when a user tries to enter something into the cell while there is stt in B1

Can you upload an anonymized file on Cjoint, since I tried using a dropdown list and it worked on my end.

  Good evening.
  I have followed your messages with great interest. And I can say that I had the same observation as jim81818. With the dropdown list, everything remains static.
  I just found out that you need to remove the $ signs and it should work with the dropdown list.
