PC audio input

Question

Hello everyone, I have a question and I hope someone can help me!

So, when I connect my speakers or my headphones to the back of the PC (on the motherboard), everything works fine! But as a result, I can only connect one or the other.
On my case, on the side, I have 2 USB ports as well as an audio jack (green) and another red connector for the microphone; my 2 USB ports work perfectly, but when I plug in a headset or anything else into the two audio jacks, nothing works. I would like to know if someone could help me fix this problem? (Everything is connected in the case)

this photo is a jack 3.5, it’s not RCA

if you are connected to one, it cancels the other... or it's not connected to the motherboard..? or it's an audio option... either one or the other, but not both.

often the front or side jacks are a repeat of the rear jacks, but not always connected.

Are the sockets...? RCA or 3.5mm jacks?

It should be noted that drivers handle USB connections differently from 3.5mm audio jack connections.

Are you talking about Audio Tracks? Is that a mistake instead of sockets?

Those two jacks shouldn't be plugged into the same thing, should they?

Basically, I have this behind my PC where my speakers are connected, and on the side, I have others (one green and one pink) for a headset with a microphone.

Oh well, it's jack, yes indeed. Oh, okay, normally they’re not connected, but I really can't plug anything into the ones on the side, I feel like they don't work...

Otherwise, are there audio jacks available to add so I can connect several things via jack? I’d like to use my headphones and the speakers as well... because I'm tired of bending down behind the PC to unplug and replug.

Your USB port is not designed to be compatible with Windows 10..  The switch is either one or the other, not both.

I'm still on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit ^^ (Haven't found someone with Win 10 to install it)

Windows 7 works just as well...  and it doesn't have the drawbacks of Windows 10... particularly devices that stop working after an update... for example.
