Hello,
I'm looking for solutions that allow two people in the same room (2-3m apart) to communicate while being isolated from noise.
I've found various noise-canceling headsets with a microphone, but they don't seem to be able to connect to each other. Are there any tips for connecting them, preferably via a phone or a computer?
I've looked into Bluetooth systems, but all I can find are intercoms for motorcycles. While that could work in principle, I'm struggling to figure out how to attach them without a motorcycle helmet! I'm also unsure if you can connect two noise-canceling headsets to it.
I'm open to solutions or advice!
Just so you know, I'm looking for this type of system for my mother, who is a psychologist: major construction work in the building where she practices is likely to disturb - or even prevent - her consultations... I've looked into soundproof partitions, but it's really not an optimal solution.

You have a very good brand of noise-cancelling headphones that have models that communicate with each other or via Bluetooth with a phone (Peltor).

But I don't know much more about this type of equipment; it's better to get informed.-
Thank you Hoolock, I had spotted this brand but hadn't seen the entire range offered. The Peltor LiteCom seems very good but almost too sophisticated for the need (8 radio channels, up to 3km range...), so the price reflects that (at €480 per headset :-/ )
I will inquire to see if there are any less sophisticated / cheaper options... thank you for your help!
