Hello!
First of all, I want to point out that this problem is present in many posts on different forums but I haven't managed to solve it despite everything.
When I perform a ping from the CMD console, I get the following message:
PING: Transmission failed. General failure.
Despite this, I still have access to the internet, I do occasionally see the yellow exclamation mark on the internet symbol.
I have of course tried all the basic solutions, restarting the box, the PC, updating the network card drivers (even if I admit that I haven't checked them in a while). This problem has persisted for a (very) long time.
I'm on Windows 7 on a desktop that's about 5 years old.
