Copy folders to /var/www/html

Hi,

I'm using an Ubuntu Server virtual machine on a host OS (Windows XP) and I have a shared folder on XP where all the folders of my project are located.

I mount the shared folder in Ubuntu Server under /var/www/html. When I try to copy a folder or install Composer or something else, the Ubuntu terminal freezes.
I can copy file by file under /var/www/html but not a folder.

    Hello,

    Can you provide the exact command you use to copy the file, along with the options, please?

    If you can copy a file, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to copy a folder, so it’s probably a syntax error such as forgetting an option, for example.
