What is a call signal?

Hello,

I just wanted to ask what the purpose of the call signal is. Is it what allows you to see the person during a call, or does it have another use? Because I have this issue, but I don’t know how to resolve it. Can you help me?

    Hello, call waiting is a service provided by your carrier. If you have call waiting included in your plan, it allows you to receive a second call while you are already on the phone with someone.
    When you are in a call, the iPhone emits a beep and the screen shows that you have a second incoming call. From there, you have two options displayed on the screen: either switch to the second call and put the first caller on hold, or hang up with the first caller and take the second call.
