Hello,
I wanted to copy all the folders from one hard drive to another. But during the copying process, the computer displays that the name of a folder is too long. However, the same message appears for a file that has a short name.
My question is the following: how can I transfer files from one hard drive to another without issues, please?
Is there any software for that?
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hello.
No, there is no need for any software.
Make sure you don't have filenames that are too long...

Raymond, thank you for your response. But if you had read carefully (lol), you would see that even with a very short name, I'm being told that the name is too long. There's even a folder e. With fewer letters than e......
I’ll ask my question again: isn't there software that can transfer files to another hard drive without any issues?
If you could provide me with a solution......
Thank you in advance.

Well Raymond, I won't give you a gold star. (lol).
I'm just kidding.
I'm on Windows 8.1. It's true, I forgot to mention that.
Thank you Choubaka.
I opened your link.
It might be the solution. I really appreciate it.
I'll check it out.

It's for work too.
I just downloaded the software. Thanks again.
But since I'm afraid of losing data due to a mistake, could you please give me the instructions or a tutorial?
I've looked for it and they always talk about synchronization.
Is this software easy to use?
If you don't have time to explain how this software works, never mind. I'll keep looking for tutorials.
But thank you again for helping me.
I wish you an excellent day.
