Black screen, cursor visible, task manager accessible

Hello.
My screen has gone black. The mouse cursor is visible and I can use it.
By pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete, I can access the Task Manager.

So the screen is working fine. But nothing is showing up on the "desktop" page.

This is my work PC and unfortunately, I don't know everything it has under the hood.

Can you help me?

    Hello,

    In the Task Manager, click on File, then Run new task, then type "explorer.exe" (without the quotes) and click OK. This should restart the Windows environment.

      Thank you very much!!! I finished the task on Windows Explorer and got a black screen; fortunately, you have the solution :)
