Hello
Could someone tell me how to program a universal remote control reference RC UNIVERS 29 purchased from NIERLE Group Media?
I am not looking for a copy of the manual, but rather I want to know how to go about programming the remote using the automatic code search. I bought this remote for my satellite decoder. This decoder has no brand (not even on the user manual) and the configuration instructions provided with the remote control are very brief and poorly expressed (even in English and German).
Also, if any of you have this accessory and can explain it to me, I thank you in advance

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

You need to turn on the device to be controlled > press the device select button and choose the type of device ( tv1; vcr etc...) > press the settings button at the top left and then the power button for at least 4 seconds. The light will stay on > After releasing both buttons, the light will start blinking (this indicates the start of the scanning) > As soon as the device turns off, press any button within a second and a half after it has turned off to confirm the programming. If it’s too slow, you need to start over.
Otherwise, just check that all the functions work, there you go.
As for me, I am still looking for a way to use the timer (the function that makes the equipment (the TV among others) turn off after an hour or two)

Universal remotes do not work on Samsung DVD players because they have made sure to block the code! So, you have to buy a new remote control from Samsung! I called them and it was confirmed to me! It's not nice, but that's how it is!
