Good evening,

The translation of "Awn" can be, I understand, okay, I see, mhhh okay.
It is quite vague, but it's often used to express a lack of response.
I personally use it when someone is telling me something important/serious and I don't know what to say.
But then again, everyone has their own definition of this word. ^^
So try asking the person who told you. :)
