Creating external hard drive folder

Hello,

I can't create a folder on my external hard drive ??????

Can you help me please

Configuration: Mac OS X (10.11.5) / Safari 9.1.1

    Hello,

    Isn't it working when you proceed as if creating a new folder on your internal drive?
    Select the external drive in the sidebar > File Menu > New Folder (or click on the "New Folder" icon in the toolbar if that icon is displayed)


    What is the format of your external drive (journaled HFS+)?
