Good evening,
We have purchased a color television, Aya model A19BD1903.
We have a satellite dish.
The television indicates antenna or cable.
We tried antenna and started the automatic search.
We are unable to set up the television.
What can we do?

    Good evening,

    This TV only receives through a "rabbit ears" antenna... which connects with a coaxial cable that goes into the TV's antenna jack...

    This TV is not equipped to receive satellite...

    A satellite dish is designed for satellite reception (which one, I do not know)

    There must be a satellite decoder between the dish and the TV...
    So: the satellite dish connects to the decoder... which in turn connects via HDMI to the television...

    The satellite channel setup is done using the remote control of the satellite decoder and its menus... which appear on the TV that must be set to HDMI (using the TV's remote)

    Channel changing is also done with the satellite remote.

    Here's a brief summary... do not confuse satellite reception with terrestrial antenna reception..
