Hello,

I am using a USB antenna key Alfa AWU036NHR v2 for my PC when I am on the go.
Is it possible to connect such an antenna key (or another one) to a tablet, which would allow me not to carry the PC everywhere?

Thank you in advance, best regards.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 45.0

    Hello,

Unless I have misunderstood the issue (which is possible), I don't see the purpose of this WiFi key or a smartphone used as a hotspot.

Indeed, all the tablets I know (although I don't know them all) have an integrated WiFi module and thus allow for a connection with a modem or WiFi hotspot. If that’s not the case, there is a wide choice of those that do.

Furthermore, the driver issue raised by Aranud87 is a deal breaker.

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

    Best regards.

That's not wrong, I had left with a 3G key...

I thought I had understood that, Aranud87. But sometimes we read too quickly, me first, and this information will be useful for those who do not have a local network.

      Best regards
