Huawei P8 Lite: red LED blinking, phone not charging anymore

Hello,

I left my Huawei P8 Lite charging overnight and this morning I check and see that the red light is blinking and the lightning bolt ⚡ symbol is displayed on the screen. The phone doesn't want to charge anymore, and if I unplug the charger and hold the power button, the red light stays on and then slowly goes off a few seconds later. Do I have a battery or charger problem? I would like some help please.
