Oglo Bluetooth speaker not recognized.

Hello,
I just bought a "Oglo essentielb" bluetooth speaker for my son for his birthday, to connect to his PC.
I also purchased a Bluetooth 4.0 USB dongle for it to work properly.
After plugging it in, the drivers install. The icon appears in my taskbar, but apart from that, no Bluetooth device is recognized!!
I've been searching, but I feel like I'm going in circles... I tried updating the driver for the dongle directly from the manufacturer's website, but still, nothing...
All Bluetooth services are enabled.
I even bought a second dongle from T-nB, but once again, nothing more...
No Bluetooth devices detected!
Could someone please help me resolve this issue? My son would be very grateful...
