Chart, "Select Data" tab grayed out and blocked

Hello,

I want to remove a series of data from a chart created and dynamically updated from a pivot table.
It's impossible to do this because the "select data" tab is grayed out and blocked.
I probably need to update a setting in Excel, but I can't see where and how.

    Hello,

    See here

    Click on the office button > Excel options > Advanced options > "For objects, show:" Set to "All".

      Thank you for the response, but it doesn't work.
      The "data selection" tab of the chart is still greyed out and blocked!
