missing calendar control Solved

Question

Hello,  I am trying to insert a calendar into a userform or it can be a date picker  The problem is that both are missing,  How can I restore them?  Excel 2007  Thank you for your help.

Good evening,
I had the same issue with Windows 8
since then I've switched to Windows 10 and managed to recover those missing controls thanks to this procedure:

In the meantime, I was using an independent calendar that adapts to the text boxes in the userform = see attached file.

Good evening Mag  I tried this procedure but the MSCOMCT2.OCX file is not present.  And I'm using Windows 10  But I will try what you attached, thank you for your time.  Jean-François

Thank you,  But I'm still getting an error message that says the save failed in the control.  LOL it's in moments like these that I miss XP.

I totally understand you!!!! I remember struggling to install this control were you able to run regsvr32?

If I remember correctly, there was a swap to be made between 32 and 64:
I placed my MSCOMCT2.OCX file in the SYSWOW64 directory and launched the CMD.exe program as an administrator.
I typed the command regsvr32 MSCCOMCT2.OCX and it all succeeded.

But I've become used to working with the independent calendar that I sent you.
If you want an example of a form where it is adapted to help you make your own adaptation, let me know, and I'll send you a file where by double-clicking in the textbox in a userform you generate the calendar.

The module was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x8002801c.

(1) Effectuez la fonction ci-dessous sur tout ordinateur manquant le mscomct2.ocx.
(2) Assurez-vous qu'une copie se trouve dans C:\Windows\SysWoW64
(3) Cliquez sur le bouton Démarrer de Windows 7 et, dans la zone de recherche, tapez "command"
(4) La recherche affichera un certain nombre d'éléments, y compris "Invite de commandes" en haut
(5) Faites un clic droit sur la bannière "Invite de commandes" et sélectionnez "Exécuter en tant qu'administrateur"
(6) À l'invite de commandes, entrez : %systemroot%\SysWoW64\regsvr32.exe mscomct2.ocx
(7) Cela devrait enregistrer le contrôle avec succès.

Actually, I think I'm going to keep your solution, the datepicker you sent me. I've already copied it and put it in my userform, I just need to make it populate the next empty cell in column A. Do you have any idea with what you sent me? With this, my stats form would be complete.

Thank you for your time, I finally succeeded, I restarted my PC, then I went to cmd to force usage as administrator, repeated the procedure and here is the datepicker that almost drove me crazy.
