Clear CS cache

Solved

Hello,
I have a problem with Counter Strike, I have 15GB of maps on my PC and I would like to clear the cache but I'm not really sure how to go about it...
Of course, I will then need to redownload the most important maps afterwards, but I know how to do that!
Thank you
Haelle

    Hello,

I'm sorry to tell you that you won't be able to clear the cache of CS (CS is not a web browser, you shouldn't have a cache).
For your map issue, I recommend you open Windows Explorer to manually delete the maps (which should be located in the map folder where you installed CS) and remove those that you are no longer interested in.

    Best regards

I’ve already considered this solution, but I have a problem with it.
In C:/Valve/Steam/SteamApps there are no specific folders or files for each map (as one might have thought), but I have 6 files with strange names that take up nearly 15GB... (are these the maps I downloaded??)
      Files:
      sinepisodes emergence.gcf
      sinepisodes materials.gcf
      sinepisodes models.gcf
      sinepisodes sounds.gcf
      source materials.gcf (for CSS??)
      source sounds.gcf (for CSS?)
Actually, these files take up nearly 7GB by themselves (the rest of the GB comes from CSS, CSConditionZ, etc...)

Thank you, I understand better how CS works ^^ (and it must work, I looked but didn't try)
I tried uninstalling CS and Steam to get rid of the maps and it worked (I hadn't done it before because my CD is scratched -_- and now I got one from a friend ^^)
    Thanks
