Hello,
I encountered a problem because not later than Thursday, December 24, my children were playing on the Wii.
Since Friday, they have been playing on the Wii U.
I connected my Wii controllers to the Wii U.
Today, I wanted to switch back to the Wii, so I desynchronized the controllers from the Wii U.
When trying to sync them to the Wii, it was impossible to do so.
Here are the steps I took:
- checked the batteries.
- pressed the red button on the Wii and then pressed the Wiimote (no result)
As a clarification, my console starts up in the Homebrew Channel.
Can you help me?
Thank you in advance.

If, after syncing and using a Wii Remote, the lights blink and then the Wii Remote turns off, follow the instructions below:
Turn on the Wii console and wait for the "Health and Safety Precautions" screen to appear (do not press the A button). Open the cover of the SD card slot located at the front of the Wii, under the charging slot, and hold down the red SYNC button for 15 seconds. This will clear the sync of all Wii Remotes from the console. After pressing the SYNC button on the Wii Remote, press the SYNC button on the Wii console. If the problem is not resolved after following the above instructions, remove the batteries from the Wii Remote for at least 2 to 3 minutes. Reinsert them and sync the Wii Remote again. Try again.
If, after removing the batteries for several minutes and resyncing the Wii Remote, the Wii Remotes still do not work, try syncing another Wii Remote if you have one.
If at least one of the tested Wii Remotes works, the first Wii Remote needs to be repaired. Please click here to contact our Consumer Services. If you only have one Wii Remote or if none of the tested Wii Remotes work, please click here to contact our Consumer Services. (To resolve issues quickly and correctly, make sure to send the Wii console, the Wii Remote(s), and the sensor).
I hope it works.
