Adpatec sous linux en NTFS

bjr a tous;
je possede une adaptec 2820SA formater en NTFS, je sait que sous ce format je peut expandre la capacite a chaud, MAIS voila je passe a fedora core 7 (licence windows trop installer) et ce n' est pas du ntfs ; est ce que si je le formate avec fedora j aurais toujour cette expansion a chaud??? il me semble ke seul le ntfs soit compatible mais....... elle et consus aussi pour fonctionner sous linux merci a vous.
