Hello probable future savior/savior,
I'll keep it short. A few days ago, I decided to resume playing The Sims 2 on the Nintendo DS Lite. I played for a while, and unfortunately, my game started to bug.
Indeed, I can no longer open my inventory; the game freezes, forcing me to restart the console. I tried to give a gift to someone, but the game froze as well. I went to the shop, and that's when I noticed the problem:
My inventory contains TWO SHOVELS (even though I was supposed to have it taken away by Steph Biaye), THREE MUMMIFIED ALIENS (when I only had two at the start), and a STOOL. But the problem with this stool is its icon; it's not a stool but two adjustable wrenches crossed as if it were the icon of a setting. However, the description of the stool is correct. I tried selling the stool, the game freezes; the aliens, the game freezes; and the same for the shovels (of course, I can't buy anything either).
Of course, I researched before coming here, and the only solution I found so far is "You have to wait about 10 days before starting to play again."
Not being satisfied with this answer, I preferred to come here in hopes of a possibly more friendly response.
