Canon printer, paper misalignment

Question

Hello,

I have a CANON PIXMA MP252 printer.
For a few days, the sheets are coming out crooked and wrinkled.

I checked, and I didn’t see any objects that could interfere with the paper's descent.
The rollers seem to be turning fine.

What could be causing this problem?
It's very annoying when I need to print documents and I have to try several times.

I really can't see anything.
When I put a stack of new sheets, it goes down well.

When it malfunctions, the sheets always go to the same side,
the left side goes down before the right side.

It annoys me.

Personally, I still think there's something that is "obstructing."

From time to time, the sheet comes down well. Or if I guide from the top of the left side with my hand, I manage to make the right sheet come down.

The guides are tightened as much as possible against the sheets. If I loosen them, it's the same.

Try to put a piece of cardboard to the right size instead of the pack of sheets. Then print, it should push out what’s stuck.

The idea isn't bad, but also check where the paper is getting stuck (to find the problem)

The problem appeared about 2 weeks ago. Is the printer old? I don't know, it must be at least 3 years old.  Is that old for a printer?

No, my printer that also scans (HP PSC 1310) is about 10 years old and still works like a charm.

In your case, I suspect a "hardware" issue, but not being in "possession" of the printer and in front of it, I can't tell you more (sorry).

Just to add my two cents.
"The age" of a printer is measured more by the number of prints than by years. Do you print a lot with it?

For my part, I would think more about wear or dirt on the rollers or drive pads. These are the rubber rollers that feed the paper by turning.
You can try to see if you can slightly scrape them (or it). I'm not sure if they can be replaced on small printers.

I print quite a bit, yes. I had already had a problem with a drive roller that had become "smooth" on another printer.  I’ll see if I can scrape a bit and whether it can be changed or not.

I used an electric blower on the printer.I did a cleaning and printed two test pages.The sheets came out correctly.I have a 40-page document to print tomorrow, I'll see how it goes.
