Install Android on a tablet via Micro SD Card

Hello,

I'm having some issues with my Android tablet

Since I'm on Mac, it's impossible for me to use the methods found online to reinstall Android from a computer.

Do you know where I can find the official Android 4.4 repository to download it, put it on a Micro SD card, and reinstall my tablet?

you can restore your tablet without an SD card by going through recovery mode.
which tablet do you have?

  My tablet: CDisplay, the original ROM was replaced by an ad-free version 4.4 that worked perfectly until I updated a program from the Store... now, it's impossible to remove this program or do anything because the screen freezes even at startup. Sometimes, the tablet recognizes the touch when I'm in debugging mode (connected to VirtualBox)
  
  Anyway, I'm looking for the official Google Android 4.4 repo. :D

  A tablet does not have a proper BIOS, just a recovery that you can activate by simultaneously holding down (depending on the model) power / home / volume up, releasing power after the logo appears.

  I have the recovery, but it also crashes... the problem is intermittent: sometimes I can enter recovery, sometimes not. Only the first 2 seconds are fine, after that I can't do anything.

Hi,

Generally, if you own a brand-name tablet, you just need to use the "Factory reset" to reset the system on it.

What brand of tablet do you have? Because we also need to make sure it supports Android KitKat (4.4) or that a "stock" (official) ROM is available for it.

    OK, it crashes, have you just tried the "Factory reset" to reset the current ROM to zero?

    However, you will need to go through "Download" mode to flash the ROM, so via µSD it might not work. And for the official ROM repository, I don't know which ones are compatible with that one.

  Thank you, but I had already consulted this topic and it didn't help me... My emulated PC doesn't recognize the tablet; there's no way to make it understand. I deleted the drivers and reinstalled them, but the problem is still the same ;)
