Hello everyone,
After a few days of intensive searching for a suitable driver for my graphics card, I managed to find one... but it doesn’t work at all!!!
So I’m calling on you to help me solve this problem
I tried ma-config, touslesdrivers, as well as driver booster 2... without any conclusive results
Thanks in advance
PS: my motherboard is an asus n56vz rev2.3, I’m on Windows 7 x64bit

Hi Judge_TD, thanks for this quick response
I tried the Nvidia driver you gave me and unfortunately it doesn't work.
I want to point out that the Intel graphics card drivers are up to date and perfectly functional, it's the Nvidia one that's causing the problem. -
Re,
Here when I go to the control panel to check my devices, I have:
Standard VGA Graphics Card
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
What's strange is that the NVIDIA graphics card is supposed to be a gt650m. However, when I installed the only driver that "recognized" my graphics card, it displayed Nvidia 635m.
Moreover, on touslesdrivers as well, I had the reference GF108 (gt635m)
I should mention that from there, I tested the drivers for gt630m, 650m, and 635m of course, but without any conclusive results
Additionally, right now with GPU-Z I have:
Name: Standard VGA Graphics Card
GPU: GF108 revision: FF
Device ID: 10DE - 0DE3 Subvendor: Asus (1043)
and Driver version: 6.1.7600.16385 (ForceWare .00) / Win7 64
That's all, I hope this information will be useful, feel free to ask me any other questions...
Thanks again-
You should check the exact serial number and/or model of your setup to ensure it's not a variant of the model. Sometimes, a series has multiple different configurations, and in this case, it's plausible.
But ultimately, is the card recognized by these drivers or not? If not, go directly to Nvidia for the drivers. -
No need to disassemble anything or even open it, I just need the exact model of your laptop, which is theoretically located under the laptop on the label. ;-)
But for your graphics drivers, if those from Asus don't work, you can always check at NVidia with a scan: https://www.nvidia.fr/Download/index.aspx?lang=fr -
