Reading Audacity file on another computer

Hello,
I created a file with Audacity on my old computer (which has become unusable); that file was copied to a USB stick. Later, I had to buy a new computer, and I wanted to open the file on that computer with Audacity. But I can't read the file. If I could get some advice to help me out, it would be wonderful...

The .aup files are not readable as such: they only contain information independent of the recorded tracks: name, L/R channels, overlay, volume, balance...
The sound files are recorded in the XXX_data folder corresponding to the name of the XXX.aup file, in .au format; without them, playback is not possible... -
