Align an address to the window of an envelope Solved

Question

Hello, ? How to position an address at the level of the window of an envelope while leaving space for text above (and to the left)? Thank you   Configuration: Windows / Firefox 35.0

I only see one thing, which is that you are out of the sheet.

When you open Word, I suppose the margins are set by default?

Hello,

It depends on the size of the sheet as well as the size of the envelope.

There are a multitude of envelope sizes with a window.

Could you be a little more specific? Thank you ;-)

As Stargate puts it, there are different envelope formats...

The most common is the DL format (110x220mm), and the window comes in 35x100 or 45x100 mm. It is positioned 20x20mm from the lower right edge of the envelope.

In Word, IMHO, the easiest way is to create a text box and position it in the right place so that it fits perfectly in the window. By adjusting a bit, you determine the correct position and note it down in a corner to apply it to all your creations. The text box is independent of the text on the page; you can place it over the existing text, below the text, or create a wraparound.

Hello,  Just to let you know, the Envelope function exists in Word and offers all envelope formats... You just have to type!  Mailings tab, Create Group => Envelopes.  m@rina  -- I am Charlie

Here is an example of a recipient's address for a 220 x 110 envelope with a window that measures 110 x 45, positioned 20 from the bottom edge and 20 from the right edge of the envelope:

If the A4 sheet is properly folded into three, the recipient's address is clearly visible in the envelope window.
