How to change operating systems

Hello, I currently have a Nokia Lumia 535 (or rather a Windows Lumia 535) but the variety of available apps on the store is very, very limited: there is no Snapchat, Clash of Clans, etc...
My brother also has a Nokia (Nokia XL) and I've seen that he can have all the Android apps through a store he downloaded: 1Mobile Market.
I just got my phone, so changing it with my parents will be quite tough, so if it's possible to change my phone to a Nokia XL but externally it will still be the same, I don't know if just changing the operating system is enough...
Anyway, if someone can shed some light on the subject, I would be grateful.

let it go, I've just browsed several forums on the subject:

a mobile under windows will remain under windows, and you'll have to deal with it
if you want an android mobile, change your mobile for another one under android
the choice is made at purchase
but both is not possible unless you accept crappy, infected logs and worse
why not buy a lumia xl? 95 euros at cdiscount

Yes, I regretted it afterward for the Nokia XL, but I just got mine for 100 euros as well, and it's going to bother my dad if I want to change it. Well, too bad, I'll make do. I thought it was possible to change it from the inside and turn it into an XL without changing the phone...

Semi-troll passing by: my HTC HD2, originally running Windows Mobile, works great with Android 4.3, so what you say is half wrong... Considering that Linux is like water, it seeps everywhere: sooner or later, every device model ends up running the famous kernel, and sometimes subsequently Android.

yes but be careful: what works on htc may not necessarily work on a lumia, built (and maybe even bought) before nokia was abandoned by microsoft.. on lumia, it's really pure windows! I can never thank the advisor at my former mobile operator's store enough for strongly advising me against the lumia, (at the time the first version)

it would be good to specify exactly what you downloaded, how you installed it, etc., and the intermediate steps
not necessarily in clear here, if the modification is not very "politically correct" but at least explain that to hugo tea in private, that will be constructive

Yes, I am aware of the differences between devices, and of the immeasurable pile of crap that Nokia phones post-Microsoft constitute. As for the manipulations performed on my HD2, I hesitated to specify that relatively technical steps are required in my comment, then since it's a "semi-troll," it should be taken with a bit of perspective and research. Especially since the HD2 dates back to 2009 and was designed from the beginning to be easily modifiable software-wise, waiting for the release of Windows Phone 7, which ultimately never officially reached it. Today's phones all have locked bootloaders, and it's deplorable.

Ah, I knew there was a way to change its operating system! So I can change mine to Nokia XL because I still like Windows Phone, but it's just the lack of apps that bothers me.

So I have my little idea :D I know an app that lists a multitude of app storage databases. It's Aptoide. You need to go to your search engine, then type Aptoide, and normally it's the 1st or 2nd link... From there you can download (in geek mode) whatever you want, even Minecraft, which is usually paid, or other simple apps, like Clash of Clans that you mentioned, etc...

Well, if you want to have that on your phone, you need to download it on the phone
if you want it on the computer, you need to do it on the computer
that seems logical to me

Very well, except that Aptoide does not exist in .xap format and Windows Phones only read .xap files, so what can be done?

the Nokia XL is originally equipped with Fastlane, which gives access to Android apps
you, with the Lumia, are on "pure" Windows
I don't know if it's technically possible to install Fastlane on it
I would be a bit surprised, it's like wanting to turn your Windows PC into a Mac
note that with a Mac, you can use Windows applications, but each time these are applications specifically developed for that purpose by Mac
are there other tricks to get what you want? probably..
so wait for other answers, I’m not specialized enough but I fear the worst; everything that is not original always works less well, in a less smooth way, or even with very quickly "annoying" limitations, no access to everything, associated ads, slowdowns, and so on

Thank you for your response, I didn't know about fastlane, you've taught me something. And yes, I figured there would be bugs :/ But I'm ready to take the risk.
