Why is video import on YouTube taking so long?

Hello, when I upload a video to YouTube I compress the video with software but when I put it on YouTube the upload is very very long like 1000 minutes even though my computer is very powerful?

    The PC may be powerful, but if the internet connection isn’t, it will take a long time.

    It’s always super long...
    a lot of famous YouTubers complain because it crashes at the slightest connection bug

      Speedtest, it’s flash, all flashy and ugly, maybe it’s coming from that.

    Well, if you have 500 KB/s downstream, you roughly have to upload at about 50 KB/s...

    So, 467 MB roughly translates to about 9,340 minutes...

    So the time announced by YouTube is completely logical...

    And it’s definitely your connection that’s the problem, whether you like it or not...
