I got my Imvu account hacked.

Hello, around 00:47 (Canada time) my Imvu account was hacked. I didn't provide my email address or anything else. I didn't click on a link or anything. Around 00:38 an avatar named JD8B sent me a message. I read it. The person had sent me a suspicious link. I deleted the message without clicking on the link. Around 00:47, I was logged out by myself. A few seconds later I tried to log back in but my password was incorrect (even though it's not). I wanted to change my password, but Imvu told me that my email address did not exist. When I checked my email, Imvu sent me a message saying that my password AND my email address were no longer the same. I tried several times to change my email, but Imvu said it was temporarily invalid. I don't know what to do anymore and I've put a lot of effort into this account. Please reply quickly. c:

    Someone has simply stolen your account; I don't know how, but hacking is virtually impossible on IMVU. You should create another account and contact IMVU, providing your old passwords for the stolen account, all the email addresses you've used, phone numbers if you've made payments via mobile, your date of birth, your first and last name, and possibly a copy of your ID, the last four digits of your credit card if you've paid with it—in short, all the information that could prove that this account belongs to you. It seems like a lot, but IMVU wants to avoid any repercussions if an account has been stolen from them through false information.
    To contact them via your new account, go to the IMVU web page and then to the help section at the bottom of the page written in small text, and then click on 'get support.' Write to them in ENGLISH about your problem and include all the information that could prove your identity; make sure not to make mistakes in the categories you choose to send your ticket, which is important.
