ASUS X73S WiFi driver issue

Hello,

I recently formatted my Asus X73S PC but the only issue is: I don't have an installation CD (I just checked in my PC box).

So I installed a makeshift driver from the touslesdrivers and ma-config sites, but I have a major anomaly: no way to activate Wi-Fi.

I can go online via Ethernet cable, but there's no Wi-Fi; the Fn+F2 keys don't work, and my PC doesn't detect my LiveBox at all.

Another problem is that before the formatting, my touchpad had "shortcuts"; for example, if I slid two fingers on it, the scrollbar would go up or down. But now the touchpad no longer responds that way.

Do you have any solutions?

Asus X73S
CPU: Intel Pentium B960, 2.2 GHz
OS: WIN7 Premium
Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M 1GB

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 29.0

    Good evening,

go here with the complete reference of the PC, then reinstall the missing drivers.

Check in the Device Manager if you have any yellow ? or ! points.

      If so, reinstall the drivers.

      Yes, I have:

      -SM Bus Controller
-Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter #2

I can access the internet with my WiFi now, but the "WiFi" light under my pad is not on. And the icon when I turn on my WiFi is not the same as before..

Do you have any idea about the shortcuts for my pad that I mentioned in my first post?

What is the purpose of the chipset?

The ATKACPI driver cannot be installed because I already have a version on my PC...

    Hi
the topic is not "resolved", so I'm reporting:
I encountered the same problem with an Asus X73S as well
I dismantled the Wifi card under the laptop to get the reference,
    I had: Rak RT-5390
I went to the Realtek site to download the driver and this one (for the record: IS_AP_STA_RT2860 ...) works,
I have the Wifi connection on this Asus X73S, although the light remains off.
