Hello,
I think many of us have had this problem.
Try restarting your computer with your G200 plugged in. -
I have Firefox, and although I have the installation CD, my Windows 7 PC does not recognize it!
-
Hello,
At first, I also encountered this problem.
I started by restarting my computer with the G200 connected. It worked.
After that, everything went back to normal without me having to do anything else. -

Try to find out which USB port you connected it to for the first time. Sometimes, if you plug it into any USB port, your GPS may not be recognized. TCHO, MARIN888

Look behind your GPS to see if the label is blue or purple; it's a V2
if it’s black, it’s a V1
I did it, it works; you need to respect the correct version to install the software. -
Hello,
here is the message I received from the technicians and it worked. Good luck! I hope you will let us know if it's good for you...
Hello,
Disconnect your alarm, you can install the update software for Vista and save the following file to your computer, then unzip it.
http://www.prolific.com.tw/support/files/%5CIO%20Cable%5CPL-2303%5CDrivers%20-%20Generic%5CWindows%5Callinone%5CPL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_v130.zip
You will find a PL2303 executable there. Install it on your computer.
Reconnect your alarm after installing the drivers. -
