Hello,
I have a friend who has a Surface tablet and is still using Internet Explorer on it... I tried to install Chrome or Firefox for him via the store, but I couldn't find them anywhere!!
Is it possible to install a browser other than IE on a Surface?
Have a good day,
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 28.0

If it's a Surface RT, it's not possible because Windows RT is a Windows for ARM architecture. An x86 program (normal PCs) does not work on ARM and vice versa; the architecture is very different. Moreover, on Windows RT, applications must be digitally signed by Microsoft to run. So no, there’s no Firefox or Chrome on Windows RT unless you lower the security level of the kernel (works only on 8.0) and recompile Firefox for ARM.
