Blocked keyboard and broken remote = no more Toshiba TV :(

Good evening everyone:
Here I am, trying to adjust my Toshiba LED television using the buttons on the TV itself (since I no longer have a remote control), and I accidentally locked the keyboard. I just saw the manual which states (in bold): "When the keyboard lock is active, a reminder will appear on the screen if you attempt to use the TV buttons. If you press the standby button, the TV will turn off and can only be turned back on using the remote control.
So I'm totally desperate! Is there no miracle solution??? A little trick???? Do I have to buy a new remote control??? HELLLPPPP!
